It was exactly what I expected.
It's a good and very ambitious telling of the story. It's a little hard for a film to be a "life-changing experience" when you know what is going to happen every step of the way

That movie was pretty brutal. When everyone said it was, I thought that they were just over-exagerating, but man, the scene where they have him chained to that block and they're whipping him, I won't go into details for those that haven't seen it, but by the end of that scene, you'll cringe once or twice, ha ha ha. That was one of the most brutal parts of any movie that I've ever seen.Comment
