    Whoa!!!!

That's right and it totally slipped my mind when I made this post.

That situation alone is more evidence than anything I said.

Colin Powell was a moderate and tried to talk Bush out of invading Iraq, but had to go along with him in public, because he's supposed to be Bush's international mouth piece. Powell tried to get Bush to not invade, but allow a diplomatic solution. Condie Rice isn't as moderate and she's very religious, though I'm not sure if she's quite the zealot Bush is. Still, she's religious enough that I'm sure she would feel honored to help carry out biblical prophecy.

Well, I'd like to see your evidence that the Kerry campaign raised more money than the Bush campaign.

That's an interesting theory about them wanting to bring about the end of the world as some sort of biblical prophecy, but it doesn't hold.

The reason that wouldn't be the case is because people in Government are not religious. They will say they are because many Americans are and you can't get into office without claiming you believe in God. Do any of them actually believe it? I doubt it. The bible preaches peace and love and condemns greed and killing. The latter are things that Governments are involved in on a continuous basis. If you were religious chances are you wouldn't step anywhere near running for office because of what it entails. None of those people would be true Christians according to the teachings in the bible as far as I can tell.

So I don't think it's just a matter of them fulfilling a prophecy.

bush is legitimately very religious. even bob woodward confirmed this. does he want to being about the end of the world? he had a cryptic answer to one of woodward's questions. woodward asked him how Bush's policies would be perceived by people in the future (or something like that). Bush replied, "it doesn't matter, because we'll all be dead." bush is a weird dude.
