I love small affiliates! I'd rather have 500 people sending me one join per day than one person sending 500 a day. I'd rather be supported by a solid foundation than hanging from a single thread.
I don't see myself in "competition" with other sponsor programs or anyone else for that matter. We compete against ourselves, and we're always looking for ways to improve. I've been inspired by lots of the other companies in this biz, there are some damn smart people.
I've always lived by the internet rule "Your biggest competitor is (or should be) your best friend."
