bdjuf - seriously, if you really 'love' your girlfriend and she doesn't lie to you about other things, why is her past an issue? Is she whoring around when you're not around? If in your presence she's not flirting with the neighbourhood of guys giving her attention - then you don't have to worry.
Personally, if my boyfriend was going around asking how many guys I have slept with in the past 'cuz he doubts me' I would have dumped him!
I'll tell you a story - I was once engaged to a psycho that wanted intimate details from the start. Seeing I've always been upfront about everything - I had no problem telling him. Out of nowhere, if we were having a stupid little spat, he'd bring up who I slept with, color/religion, intimate details and he didn't give a fuck who was around. I learned my lesson that unless the guy is my husband - I would never tell a soul how many/who I was with before them.
As for her 'best' friend - get rid of her in your entourage pronto - who needs enemies when someone is trashing you like that in the eyes of your boyfriend!
