Nobody has problems with them (besides bad ratios) eventhough i dont know the situation, the chance you fucked up something is pretty big. They have no reason to just rip you off, why would they. They rather have affiliates. So why you dont tell us what happened?

I used them as my main per email sponsor for over two years with no problems. I even stuck with them when ratio's went downhill and a lot of other affiliates jumped ship.
Then I get an email saying I had been cancelled for fraudulent signups. Nothing had changed on my end. Same traffic quality and quantity.
I emailed Peaches asking what was going on but she never replied. About a week later I get a standard "we can't discuss details of the fraud" email from their fraud dept.
Since I know I didn't send fraudulent signups, I can only assume it was either a glitch in their fraudometer or another webmaster trying to knock out competition.
Either way I was fucked as I had no recourse to appeal or whatever and hadn't gotten to know any WEG Reps personally to try to sort it out so even though I was disappointed to lose a good sponsor and I insulted that I was being accused of cheating, I had no choice but to bite the bullet and move on.
I don't think they intentionally ripped me off as like was said earlier, Sponsors like Affiliates that make them money, that's how this all works but once that fraud alert goes off for whatever reason justified or not, then forget it.Comment

That's processor related and not on their side, they normally know as much as you know about the reason, they just get told by the processor that they have to close the account because they say it's fraudulent and won't process it anymore.Originally posted by OzMan

Never had a problem, but heres a suggestion as to what may have happened..
Sponsors have to be on the lookout for fraud affiliates sending too many chargebacks..
Thiefs may sign up for an affiliate program to push stolen credit cards through the program ( signing up themselves just to recieve the ref income )
In my experience some programs will evaluate the amount of chargebacks on NEW accounts and may terminate you depending on their own criteria..
Depending on the support staff , if your innocent this problem should be cleared up quickly. as there is no reason for a program to stop you from sending them money, it just doesnt make sense. Why would a program take 1 months worth of cash from you when they could make 6 months worth of "cuts" from you.
This being said some support staff for some programs are most certainly idiots..
A certain well known sponsor did this to an account i opened, After only 2 signups.. The support was totally unhelpfull and after explaining my situation and giving the company references to other sponsors they dropped the ball, so fuck them i moved on and used another sponsor and push 10k a month thru them. ( I'll chalk this one up too idiotic support staff ) ( i figure that company is losing about $120,000 /per year , just because a support staff member was an idiot.hatisblack at yahoo.comComment

I have ABSOLUTELY NEVER had a problem with WEG. In fact i really can't say enough good things about them. not only do they have some excellent programs, and terrific support, but they are THE ONLY sponsor that CONSISTANTLY compensates me for downtime on their servers.
i have NEVER had another sponsor pay me for down time.
the guys and gals at weg are some good people. they always do straight buisness, and are always happy to help their webmasters.
I've been with these guys for over three years now, and they have ALWAYS been great to me.

Thanks but this was a few months back now and I know now there is nothing you could do about it once it is marked as fraud. Strange though as it was for the free email signups not credit card signups so it couldn't have been marked as fraud for stolen credit cards/chargebacks , it must have been for fake emails and since I know I didn't do that I am at a loss to explain it.Originally posted by Peaches
