Repetitive Monkey approved hosts

In cooperation with some host owners I am testing servers to see if they are as wide open as OXEO.

If you want your servers tested, contact me on ICQ. If you have a virtual account on a host besides FoundryNap and OXEO, also let me know. I will give you a free copy of Server God ( read more on http://www.adminshop.com/ ) if you upload it for me for a quick check.

As of right now, the only server found secure is http://www.foundrynap.com/

More to come, don't ruin the thread.

I don't made good experiences using them. Perhaps they are secure (ok, they can't be that secure, cause some script kiddies managed it to delete all index.html's on the server my site was hosted) But perhaps that's just me.

Why you dont like them ? I been using them for serveral of months now and i like them a lot, good support too.

The only host owner to have contacted me so far is Techie Media. Unfortunately they have spent 10 minutes setting up a virtual account for me to test Server God on, and they still aren't done. I wonder if I can take that to mean that they are tweaking my virtual acct to the point where the results are useless as far as their other virtual accounts go (ie, if my virtual is restricted from rooting but the others aren't).

Excuse me Repetitive Monkey, I would like to know who exactly at Techie Media you said contacted you? I am 1 of the 2 owners and neither my partner nor I has spoken to you ever. So either you are lying, or someone contacted you impersonating me? I would be highly interrested in seeing any emails, ICQ AIM logs etc showing where any owners here contacted you regarding this.

That is absolutely not me. There are probabally hundreds of people here on GFY that all know my ICQ 11 375 429 and has been for MANY years. If you have these logs could you email them to me at jim (at) techiemedia.com

If anyone here knows the real identy of the ICQ # 20959?? (and can help us show proof of who it is) will be given a cash reward.

I may have misunderstood the situation though, because we talked about "setting up" a virtual account and his name was Jim, and so I worked on the assumption that this was you.

Edit: he just contacted me and said he never said he owned techie media. So the fault lies with me.
