I was thinking, one of the guys from Milli Vanilli killed himself a few years ago and I was really feeling bad for him. In an age where Music has become a commoditiy, we have acts like Jessica and Ashley Simpson, Britney Spears, Nsyc ect... I think maybe Justin Timberlake has been the only person who is an artist. Everybody lip synchs thses days, and some artists don't write OR sing their songs. What do you think?

They have been doing that for years..way before them..Many artists do it for various reasons...no band with them or their voice is fucked etc -

well milli vanilli was a little different because they didn't even sing on their albums.. The current bunch do sing on their albums even if they're helped by production values...

I think some people (Asley Simpson) don't even sing, they're just figure heads. This all started bothering me after reading an interview with Avril Lavigne (ok she's a cutie) and she claimed that many artists don't even sing their sons, are completely modify their voices in the studio.Comment

Boney M did that a good decade and a half before they did. They were the victim of a hyped up hissy fit by the same people that today by crap music by the boat load. It was shitty music and shouldn't have been Grammy worthy in the first place but they took way too big a slap for what was not their choice. The record company and the producers are the ones that needed to feel bad.Comment
