Even clicking on the console link that you're posting from this thread, it doesn't take over my GFY window. Their entire exit chain works properly for me.
Maybe your IE isn't default.

Strange, if I click on this console link of theirs:

It will launch in a new window, but if I close that new window, it will hijack my GFY window
