Do you tip

I used to out of habit but not any more. I'll go in the kitchen and bag the food myself if they let me. Fuck that.

I have worked in a restuarant for 11 years now. I wouldn't tip on take out. However, keep in mind that if you don't tip when you go out regularly the server has to "tip out" the bussers, the kitchen and the bar out of their own pocket, so usually that is about 5%, so even if everything sucks, you should at least tip 5%.

Gratuities are for special service or something "extra." Take out is only one step above a vending machine. NO TIPS

fuck that...why should you? for making the food? your already paying for the food....all they do is handed to you....unless if its a very big order...than maybe $5 or something
