Yeah they collect alot of info, things like billing address etc. I often forget the adult industry is not ran like "real business".

If it was not for the Acacia crap, I would generally insist on alot of info myself. Yes it pisses people off and some people will not even register or ever buy from you on principle ect.

Personally though if they do not have the patience to fill out a simple form to gain access even to just see samples so be it. In this day and age I would rank covering my ass over a sale nearly any day.

I will not argue the stupid bandwidth issue etc. Providers do have it rough enough as it is with the current costs they can sell for. Yet do not think for one instance that there are not a few hundred if not thousand people here just on GFY alone that really do not buy shit, but will still download every single promo clip or whatever they can just because it is free porn.

they give no samples upfront, so using a real business as an example, would you go into a retail store that had little signage out front telling you what was in side, but before you're allowed to see what was inside they made you hand over your driver's license information and credit card?

they need to do more to entice me to enter

it has nothing to do with being lazy, I'm spending quite a bit of time looking at content, to ask for this much upfront is not reasonable

I think when those that go to the show in Florida, you should take a cab and visit Scores office in Miami, then tell us who is a business and doing things right.

We now live in a time when fraud on the net is rife, we have a 1% charge back level and pirating of content is out of hand. So they want to know who they are selling to. Except for the Acacia situation it seems totally reasonable to me.

I do think some of the things are a little excessive, but when you are having your FTP emails blocked by a mail server, it helps to have a phone number.

This is no more than a surfer is required to enter for you to make your money ... the address im guessing is saved and parsed so you dont have to enter it when you place an order.

Ill never understand the extreme laziness of some people to fill out forms - wouldve taken shorter time than it did to start this thread.

by the way, doesnt google taskbar have an autofill feature? i dont know i use roboform - check that out if you hate forms. makes my life easier.

ill agree some tame samples of the models could be shown - your brick and mortar store analogy.
