    Simon Cowel ( U.S Pop Idol Judge )....What does everyone think of him ?

    Just watched the final 12 battle it out on Satellite TV here in the UK.

    I think alot of UK people think Cowel is really funny in a sarcastic bastard sort of way, what do you U.S guys think ? ( and other Europeans who are familar with him ).

          He said on Stern he wouldn't do the 3rd season unless he got $10 million, so since he's on it means he probably got it. so we like him to make him worth that.

                  I think he's funny...and knows real well how to play the bad cop on the show.

                  He's honest forthright and only concerned in the end about whether or not the people have what it takes to earn him another million.

                  He took Clay Aikens a total geek and turned him into a pop idol.

                  2 of his stars from that show have already both been nominated for grammies..what more can you say.

                  He knows how to sell a product.

                                      Even though most of it is staged bullshit, I like the guy. He doesn't pull punches and tells it how it is. That's the problem with today's society, everyone is too much of a pussy to speak their mind. The absolute main reason the show is so successful is because of him, no doubt about it. He says what most people are scared to say.

                                      Although with his arrogance, I'd imagine him coming from France and not the UK.

                                          My point exactly..........he's not out to find the best singer, as he says he is..........he wants a marketable person and hyped up tv ratings...........thats why he gave his favorites "free passes" last year, even when ruben's voice cracked etc, he said nothing, nor did he comment on ruben's obesity, yet he told kim locke to lose weight and she was fat, not to mention that marine dude, josh...

                                          this year, he's clearly hyping that john peter lewis guy, calling him a darkhorse to win...............lol..............yeah right, the guy can hardly sing but he's goofy and the feedback at fox is that this guy is popular.............so the disingenous, faggish Cowell makes his comments............and ppl think wow Simon's honest, so he must have a point. Cowell is full of shit is what he is.

It seems that the only reason they become famous in the US is because they appeared on American Idol and won, that's it. Nothing unique about them.
