New site, will this ever work?

This site is not yet 'live', but I want to get input from you guys before I take it too much further in this direction.

My idea is to have a place where webcam hosts can make their own free homepage and get a shitload of targeted traffic to their cams, while I use affiliate codes and get credit for the signup (or per minute, depending on where they host their webcam).

Seems like a win-win situation, but will it ever work? Are there enough english-speaking solo webcam girls out there who would take the time to do this? Or, if not, do you think any of the webcam sponsors / studios would get involved and prompt their girls to do this if they could get a lot of targeted traffic out of it?

Again, I've written 90% of the code for the site, but I still have quite a bit of work to do before I take it live, so none of the forms are active.

I think this is a great Idea, as sounds like there would be lots of girls to choose from, the only problem is finding them. Best of Luck!

Thanks man. The thing that really appeals to me about it is letting the girls create the content for me but making it profitable for everyone involved.

Space those buttons out a bit more for WHERE IS YOUR CAM HOSTED, you should give each button its own line, its a little confusing how close they are and people will click the wrong button easily

Yeah, completly free content its a wonderful plan, I wish I had the knowhow / resources to do all that. Unfortunatly im new and still learning... but i have dreams

Hey i was wondering if you had any suggestions, you seem to know your shit, The toy site in my sig I got affiliated with them in Feburary and ive made almost 2 grand so far. But my main puller has been Ebay, im listing shit there with a link to my site (which is against Ebay rules and they keep shutting me down) Can you think of any good ways to pull quality Traffic? I am also listed with a banner on worldsex.com, but that draws sales suprisingly low. I get alot of hits, but very few sales. Any help you could give me would be appreciated.

At a glance your website says nothing about what I'm about to receive by typing anything in that form, admittedly it's for free (or so you say) but it's not saying anything so I quickly shut the website and move on to another one of the trillion or so websites out there.. hope this helps

Ironhorse (and others who've said the same) I agree that the site design needs some serious attention, but as far as telling you what you get for free, this is the top left paragraph on the main page:

Although that wasn't the real point of my post, I know the design kind of sucks. What I was really looking for was info on the state of the webcam industry and whether or not this is really a feasible idea.

I have promoted clickcash and other webcam sponsors for years, but I don't have a good understanding of how it works behind the scenes. I.E., are most webcam girls really doing shows from home, or do they work in studios? Who do I need to contact, the people who own the studios? Would they be interested?

I really appreciate your comments though, thanks for taking the time and I'll definitely work on making the offer more immediately desirable.

Actually, I don't plan on 'hiring' anyone. That's the point, these girls already have webcams at different sites, I'm just offering them free extremely targeted traffic. In exchange, they create a profile with pics etc which will be the 'content' of my site, and I will make commission using existing affiliate programs.

Any WebCam affiliate program owners have a comment on this?

Hey Baersupplier,

As anyone in this industry can tell you, getting and converting quality traffic is what it's all about, and therefore it is the hardest thing to do.

I am no expert on sex toy sales, but it seems to me that if you are advertising sex toys on a porn site it should not be your main sponsor, rather an 'additional income' sponsor which will not take away from paysite sales etc.

However, if you are looking to send targeted traffic directly to that toy site (like you're doing with ebay) without using a porn site as an intermediary, I'd go with Google or another pay per click search engine where you can specify key words.

I'd also setup REALLY targeted keywords with targeted landing pages. For example, let's say you got a dildo called the "Ultra Vibe 5000". You can bid $0.30 per click on the search phrase "Ultra Vibe 5000" and link it directly to a page that sells that specific dildo, and probably make a decent profit.

Just targeting "Sex toys" could be profitable as well, but the competition is huge, so the more you can target a specific item the better.

I know the back end of ifriends and a few other cam sites better than I know my own dick, when it comes to the producing of the content, dealing with the models, studios, ect.

btw i know 2 people that have 2 seperate opt in email lists that are nearly all ifriends hosts or former hosts.
