I'm actually very fond of Canadians. They mostly are a friendly good-natured people. I didn?t grow up near the border so when I moved up north I was able to formulate my own opinions about them from my trips without bias.
It always amazes me that a lot of Canadians have an innocent aura about them and they are almost never jaded people. Yet they still retain that ?new world pride? that Americans do (that rough and tough spirit of pioneers). That speaks volumes about their society. I?m not big on socialism but they seem to make it work.
I like to think that the constant back and forth between Canadians and Americans is similar to that of two brothers. One brother is more confrontational and loud, and the other more happy-go-lucky and reserved. You decide which one is which.
