this company is the biggest group of fuck ups I have ever done business with.

They have two chargebacks pending against them from me because they cannot deliver the uptime they guarantee or anything even remotely close to it.

I cancelled my account with them MONTHS ago and began receiving emails a few days ago saying that they were trying to charge my account again, but the transaction had been denied. I replied to each email telling them the account had been cancelled, do not charge it.

They ignored the emails and charged it anyway. So now they're going to have three chargebacks against them.

They don't answer their telephone when I call them either.

Mastercard suggested changing my credit card number so these idiots can't keep charging me & forcing me to do chargebacks

my problems weren't even related to that one incident. there were at least 5 or 6 other times I woke up in the morning to find my server had been down and it took them up to several hours to get it running again. nothing complex on the server just plain html

We will harden the server for you upon signup. Other than that, these are self managed servers. We will of course help you here and there with any issues you have that are not too in depth. If you require trouble shooting beyond 15 minutes or so we charge $65 per hour.

You can add managed services for $99 per month and you would get free support.

As far as the billing dispute mentioned above. I have asked the customer to email me directly so I can research and get corrected. From what I can tell the customer prepaid for 3 months and cancelled a month or so into it and wants a refund. We do not offer any money back guarantee on dedicated servers so he did not get a refund. Now if we have somehow billed him again for another 3 months this is a problem and we will get it corrected.

he will just charge back for 3 months, and change his card number, then you lose.

We are going to get the billing dispute resolved so no one needs to worry about any chargeback. We are not going to keep his money if he cancelled in the past. Mistakes do happen and they do get corrected. We have our own techs in the data center working on servers. We have some outsourced support helping with first level support on mostly shared hosting. If they are unable to resolve the issue they can transfer the chat to our many techs in the data center. Since our techs in the data center are not in front of their workstations at all times but working in the data center on the issues at hand, the outsourced support is good to have so every call and chat gets picked up. Thanks for your feedback.

you said you were ditching the india support people, after they kept closing support windows cause they didnt like what they were hearing, i guess you are soon to forget the outage, i could link to the 25 page wht thread about it.

I think you need to change your text a bit, first of all it is BGP routing and not GBP. Then this forum is called GFY or gofuckyourself and not WHT or webhostingtalk

Those prices are great, without the setup fees. Good luck tho!

Fling.com doesn't steal your traffic and sales unlike some other dating companies. I promote them, and so should you!

Hivelocity offered a 99.9% uptime guarantee and did not deliver it. That is what the chargeback for the initial payments is in regards to. This has nothing to do with the 6+ hours of downtime that occurred during your office fire either, this was due to many instances of other problems that were occurring nearly every other day.

BTW if you read your own policy more closely you will see that hivelocity does (or at least did) offer a money back guarantee within 30 days. My problem is that I gave hivelocity too many opportunities to fix the problems and went past the 30 day window before cancelling. Since the uptime guarantee was violated anyway and I have proof of this, the credit card company will be issuing a chargeback.

Or you guys could simply do this the right way and the easy way and not get a chargeback on your merchant account, and refund the payment. I even offered to accept a pro-rated refund when this issue first came up. Frankly a chargeback would work out more favorably for me since I would get back the entire amount rather than a portion of it.
