I have seen every 80's band live that I care to see. But if I could see one of them again I would have to say GnR... they have put on one of the best shows that I have ever seen and also one of the worst shows that I have ever seenComment

oh man, I fought joining this thread. Really, I did because it is too much of a 'me' thread. Then, i click and there are good bands straight off the bat.
alright..first one: Morrisey is working on an album at the moment. Has been muttered about a lot on the UK music scene over the past couple months.
PF's are great but Love Spit Love were good too!Comment

MADNESS
Simple Minds-
i know it'll sound weird but...
RATT
Warren DeMartini and Steven Pearcy live in San Diego by me as well :-))
FYC are back together and I am seeing them in July in London.
Simple minds - back together for a couple show - was on London news a couple weeks ago when they did a show. I don't know if they are doing any albums though.
Housemartins will never get back together. Not with Beautiful South still turning over money and Norman Cook (aka Fat Boy Slim) being a gazllionaire.
Maddness are still together but take breaks between albums.
Ratt - I was just playing Round Round when I opened the thread ;)Comment

Tears for Fears just recently announced they are reforming. It is on the back of a couver of one of their songs - Gary Jule's version of Mad World from the Donnie Darko soundtrack - recently being a huge hit in the UK over christmas.
Frankie - Holly Johnson has HIV, he does lots of tv but not sure about if he is singing.Comment

Morrissey makes me want to blow my brains out, way too depressing for me, Psychedelic furs was decent but also leans on the depressing side of street.Originally posted by eroswebmaster

I would die to see some early Pink Floyd even as far back as Syd Barret, or see early U2 from the 80's although I like all U2 really but early songs in particular. 80s was kinda cheese though, now that I think about it..Comment
