                                                              I believe Russia and Germany both relayed intel concerning Saddam and wmd's. They gave us this info, before they thought we would go to war, and when we decided to act on this intel and go to war Russia Germany and France vetoed it. It also seems that Russia, Germany and/or France were getting major kickbacks from the oil for food program from Saddam himself. It only makes sense to veto a war action against a country that I was getting healthy kick backs and rock bottom oil prices from.

                                                              I wouldn't rely to heavily on findings coming from the U.N. since they would lose out on the oil for food program too, if we were to take action against Saddam and invade Iraq.
