                Well you're absolutely dead wrong here. The French actually had one of the words most powerful armies. They were beaten by the Germans on tactics .. It wasn't a superpower vs. a nobody. The French got ass kicked by an equal strength army.

                            True, France did have a powerfull army, but the Germans hit them off guard. If canada had a military 10x that of the US and the US blitzed, we'd have no choice but to surrender. It takes time, lots of time, to fully mobilize an entire army.



                            And as far as your comments reguarding me joining the army, thats fine. That's your opinion, however uniformed it may be. Our military is a great military when you look at from a funding point of view. Seeing as how it gets damn near no money, it still manages to be around the world helping other countries out, which is what I want to do. I don't see myself as the "fearsome" warrior as you seem to think soldiers have to be.

                            If you're going to try and pick someones post apart, at least read what you've written so you can see everything you've said that is wrong.

                            You know nothing in the way of military or politics, at least sensible military and politics that is.

                                                        Also, please feel free to enlighten me on this bed thing. They weren't hiding under their beds, they were standing on their roof telling the most powerfull country on earth that it was wrong. I have more respect for France and Iraq than for the US for one simple reason. Both have been through hell in a handbasket. The french in ww2, and iraq, first under sadam (which wasnt bad, as long as you didnt say anything negative about him), and now under the US, which, up to this point, has done a whole lot of nothing over there, aside from bombing hospitals and public transportation systems.

CNN's slogan is, "The most trusted name in news". Any news station that feels it needs to remind its viewers that its trusted is.. well.. not to be trusted. Again, there is no "credible" evidence that CNN is full of shit. Sure, it seems like they tell the truth in their reports, but anyone can lie. Most people have the ability to pick up on something when its a lie. Have you ever been lied to? Of course you have, and I'm sure you've discovered it every single time.
