Google is kind of like plinko, you know you're gonna show up but who knows where - my mainstream site is listed at 450 for the main keywords, and it is much more relevant than the 400 sites above it.

Have to ask - why would a no1 on yahoo mean you should have a good google listing too? They are now two totally different engines.

Why would you say this page is poorly optimized for Google?
I'm not trying to challenge you , I just want to increase my knowledge. The kw phrase is first in title, The kw phrase is first in the body text. Three of his links have kw phrase in link text, he has the kw phrase in two ALT tags....Am I missing something?

I read an article in Wired magazine about the diff. between Yahoo and Google's engines/algorithims. Lemme see if I can't track it down, it had a graph of how different the rankings were between the two.

I think there is something wrong with the way it is optimzed. Or there could be something seriosly wrong with google's spiders.

google uses PR ratings and cares shit for meta tags
yahoo uses the meta tags and cares shit for the PR rating
