He'll put smokes up to £5 and he wants to stop the sale of them in 10's as that encourages kids.. When I was a young lad in the early 60's they used to be sold in packs of 5 and some places would sell single cigarettes.. For those in the States this means that a pack of 20 will be almost $10 here in the UK !!!
As for booze.. As I only drink when I'm out any price rise won't hit me that badly.. -
I don't smoke but hubby does so I have to watch that too. The only people I have ever seen buy packs of 10s are teens and broke uni students.Comment

in sweden you buy smokes for a round $5 per 20 pack, as for booze its fucking expenisve, 0,7litres vodka costs $25+
