Oddly enough, I have to agree. I've dealt with a lot of canadians in this biz... they seem to always pay, go to the bank to get bank checks and are cool to deal with.

A few names come to mind, but Martin does good biz... he posts on this board good guy!

I also live 6 hours away from montreal, and when I was younger it was great to go drinking underage there. =)

Its not just the people in this industry either. I can only speak w/ experience in Vancouver, BC. With the exception of the (no doubt way far left liberal American) Green Peace freaks that tried storming our carrier w/ lifeboats

the experience was nothing but great. The people were laid back and friendly, the old timers were buying us beers, the women were hot & friendly (one of them REAL friendly, but only kinda hot

), and the men weren't mad that the women were friendly. Hell, even the police were courteous and, probably, TOO tolerant of our drunk asses...

When I was first transferrred from New York to Montreal, I couldn't put my finger on what was different about the people, then I saw a commerical on tv. A guy was playing guitar and singing......

I have lived in downtown Toronto for most of the last 18 years and eat at restaurants 5 nights a week. The choice of types of food and the quality is amazing!!!
