For people asking if this is the same issue from 5 months ago, yeah I did provide a link to the old thread in my first post. The problem rang a bell so I dug it up..
Dont be confused on the actual problem: You can paste or click a link with her referral code, follow the tour and click on any Join page link. When you hit the join page, her ID is gone, and in it's place is "mcommerce_a". Thats the issue.
Not a FHG listed in their site with someone elses code, a direct link WITH her code automagically changes to someone elses. And it's always the SAME someone else.
Yes programmers know that a comma here or there will fuck up parsing data, but it's quite a stretch to imagine the same issue repeating the same exact result time and time again ;)
Note: My own link code I've never seen a problem with. Nor can I repeat the same problem from my connection that she's getting. Thats why in my original post I suggested that perhaps it's an IP based issue or regional issue. However we're both in the U.S., so that seems unlikely.
At any rate, clearly if NastyDollars can't replicate the result, they don't know where to look to repair the problem, which is disturbing to me personally, and more than enough reason to not put their links up.
Sorry ND, there is a serious issue on your end of the deal.. Please consider hiring an outside data security firm or something to monitor the data stream in and out of your servers from end-user, to database. I'm sure you can find the error and report success in crushing it. Soem sleuthing would solve it I'm sure. Like checking TTL on packets to see how far away the new data is inserted or something. Hell if I know.
Anyway, thanks for the replies.. figured bringing it here would confirm AND deny the issue ;)
