I don't know if this is something to start conversation, or something that's recently happened to you. But I'm going to be completely serious with my answer. Here's what I would do (if I wasn't okay with the situation):
First of all, if I walked in on them I'd make sure she saw me. I wouldn't hide the hurt from my eyes. I wouldn't try to act tough and talk tough. This is a woman you love, after all. No matter what, you should never hurt someone you love. This means no yelling, and of course nothing physical.
If she actually loved me, it would tear her up inside to see my face and the hurt in my eyes. If she didn't feel any pain from hurting me, she wouldn't be worth having, and I'd do my best to let her go and move on.
But if she's your wife she most likely loves you very much. So my method is going to be both therapy for you and a lesson/payback for her.
Let her see you grieve. Don't hide it. Let her see you bawl your eyes out and lose all your dignity and pride. If she loves you, this will hurt her SO DAMN BAD.
I'll admit, I'm talking from experience. I had this happen to me with a girlfriend. I didn't push her away. I let her stay there with me. Sometimes I'd just start crying my eyes out for no reason. She'd see all this and hold me. It made her cry just as bad to see what she'd done to me. It gave consequences to her actions. She'd cry herself and keep apologizing over and over and over again.
It actually made our relationship so much better after we worked through it. If you get mad and yell, you do yourself no good. Does someone yelling at YOU make you feel guilty/bad? Or does it just make you mad and rebellious?
What if you saw intense pain and knew you'd caused it? Which would make you want to never hurt that person again?
