    fuck pennicilin, give me maggots

    Dunno about anyone else but i'd much rather let whatevers rotting rot right the fuck off my body before this.

          I saw a show on Discovery about this. Diabetic people with ulcers that start to rot and wont heal. The maggots will only eat dead rotten flesh and wont touch living flesh. They wrap some specialy breed tiny sterile maggots over the wound then after several days they remove them. They are like 10 times the size when they started eating. Gross as hell but very effective. Much more so than a physicians scalpel.

              my husband has several very painful non-healing ulcers. I think it is only a matter of time until they suggest it to him (we have been keeping our eyes on it for a couple years). I think he might do it too..he is a much stronger person than me. However, by all accounts it works and if you are in that kind of pain you will do what it takes!

                          I dont see why people would be afraid of them crawling on their wounds when they are just helping you out.
                          they are just fucking maggots, your body will be visited by thousands more of them when your buried six feet below.

                                              I saw a documentary about this on TV the other day...doc is rolling the bandages off and you see all these maggots wiggling on the guys necrotic leg.
