We have a PC running Windows 2000 Professional that shows about 80% on "system idle process" on the windows task manager but the "performance" meter is showing about 80% used and the PC runs like shit... What is this and how do we get it out...

Already tried Ad-Aware, Norton SystemWorks, AVG 6.0, Trojan Remover, Bullet Proof Software - Spy Ware Remover and so far none have fixed the problem.
For all we know it could be a Windows problem.
Anyone every hear of 80% idle time but 80% CPU used.?

In task manager, click on the process tab and see what's using the most resources and see if you can end that program. Then run hijackthis and del it.Comment
