CABLE internet service does not work like that it is a NEIGHBORHOOD NETWORK wher you actuall shre bandwidth with your neightbors, the biggest problem is if you neighbor orders cable or disconnects or fucks around with it, it can interfere with your service.
I had cable for 1 month, and got it for free after the bitching I gave them I have been DSL for 2 years now with out a problem. T1 lines would be the way to go if you can justify the cost, I work at a local ISP(not where I get service) and we sell T1 lines for 285 a month.
