I think it needs a little bit of working on.... too much going on and not well organized ... perhaps you can get some ideas from this site:

I myself am working on a asian site but not a TGP .. just a free site... look around at other sites for layout/design ideas... just dont copy something outright though.. hope this helps...

Here's what I think....

1.) The design itself is unattractive. Maybe if you had a fancy header it would make the site come to life.

2.) Maybe you can use the same amount of thumbs but split them up into separate categories such as "Week's Best Pics, New Pics, etc."

3.) Since your thumbs are on tables, how about you thicken the border between the pictures as well. It will make the pictures a little bit more friendly on the eyes.

Those were some good suggestions -- I'll start re-arranging and re-doing soon.
