just bought a cd for the first time in years

can't remember the last time i actually bought a cd. tonight i bought a few as gifts and i couldnt stop laughing at how high some of the prices are

i'm a cheap fuck, next time i'm gonna send my friend a shitload of mp3sss instead

we have the biggest used cd stores in the world here.

I buy cds, I have like 2k+ of them stacked here.

Used cds rule, and the stores are so huge, they have anything you want.

I got friends who come here and drop 500 bones on music.

They find vinyl and shit they cant leave without.

fuck paying 20 bucks a disc, but I get brand new discs still shrink wrapped for 4.99 - theyre not even used, just theres sooooo many record stores out here, they start to sell them to second hand stores.

one of the cds i bought was best of van halen 18.95

i couldnt stop laughing when i saw the price. shit, then i saw the audioslave for the same price!!??

fucking crazy shit, this is why i stopped going to the cd store years ago, ahh well. its only a gift

Prices have really gone up way to high. I'm sure you had quite a surprise when you were in the store going through the CD's you could have bought if they were cheaper.

big money on ebay... its amazing what some people will pay for used indie cds on ebay... more than they would pay in a store... speaking of cds i need to sell all of mine... ive been meaning to go to the record store but im lazy... wanna buy em fletch?
