    My girl is going to Isreal for two weeks this summer

    With a small group from her college class. They are going to be studying an ancient mesopotamian site.

    Though they are staying out of jerusalem, and the professor taking them has gone every summer for the last nine years, I still am worried about her.

    Should I be concerned?

              yes. if you love her, be concerned. especially when Bush moves his war on terrorism into another middle eastern country ........should be around summer time (if the US people are as idiotic as they sometimes seem to be)

                      One of my friends went to Jerusalem during his Christmas break at college, had a great time and luckily no incidents. Personally I wouldnt go, but hey, he made it home safe

                                      Your girlie will be as safe, if not safer than she is here in the U.S.

                                      Which doesn't mean its like going to Cabo for two weeks, she will have to still out for stuff that doesn't look right, like why that backpack has been left unattended for 20 minutes or so, she should know that she should report that to someone, but its really no different than being here in the states.

                                                                                                                                  I am sure you are always concerned about your girlfriend......with that aside......Israel is one of the safest countries to visit. Their lifestyle is a little different from ours to say the least. but they do know how to protect themselves. I have had friends travel to Israel during variousl times of upset and have never heard anything bad about their stay or fear of their safety while they are there. In addition, since this is a college trip, I am sure, if they feel there is any danger to the students the trip would be canceled. Right now it is just something for her to look forward to. Everyone I know who has been to Isreal has had a wonderful time!

                                                                                                                                      from my own personal experience.....someone will get her drunk and take advantage of her....i owe a couple of aussies an ass whoopin........it wasn't hard to figure it out either......here are signs to look for(she was gone for 3.5 weeks)
                                                                                                                                      1: Stops calling or emailing u after a week
                                                                                                                                      2: Won't see you when she gets back
                                                                                                                                      3: An aussie flys in a week after she gets home
