As far as a $20.00 per hour wage, I don't think anyone would expect that kind of wage at any entry-level position. The point is that Walmart refuses to let an employee work a full 40 hours per week. This move denies employees any rights to benefits and you can forget about overtime pay.

So that community sacrifices 100 jobs from small business and gains 1000 new jobs via walmart, not to mention all the business the community will pickup (contractors, builders etc...)
I don't know anything about the 40 hour work week issue, so I can't really comment on that.
