Their suspension policy is not very fair. If you are an affiliate and signed up for many sites together under your main id, if all of them are fine, but one sponsor happened to be on their teen radar list, you as an affiliate get your whole account frozen. This is even for sites that all models are 18 but according to their interpretation "look" underage. What does this look mean? Wearing socks, ponytails? There are hundreds of thousands of such legal images. They seem to have over-reacted and suspended many accounts across the board.Comment

CCbill or Epoch if you can't use Verotel are the most obvious choices out here. Search adult webmaster resource sites and you will see there are a few smaller ones around. Are they any good? who knows, take a chance and tell us.Comment

I think they will shut down within 6 months and keep their money for themself, like globosale did. The "only way" globosale could be contacted was by sending mail the old fashioned way, and they "would respond" after 6 weeks. For me they never did, and they still owe me $ 6.000. btw, I've been in touch with several webmasters now, and everyone has got their account frozen. And none of them has promoted any underage sites. So what is the deal then? All sites I have been promoting are 18+, and I have checked their compliance and asked the webmasters if any doubt, before promoting any sites. So....if the fact is that they are not 18+, and they are "hardcore exposed", is it not CP then?Comment

what the real problem is is verotel legal sites linking to underage sites. This is the stupidest business practice in the world and yet you have legit sites *linking* to illegal sites. This is beyond stupid, why is it so hard to just be legit across the board, no compromise, not even a single link to a wrong site?Comment

Maybe, but my real concern is in their email they mention that underage is defined as even models 18 that are made to appear younger. This is completely open to intepretation. It's like going through every photoset and saying this dress makes the model look younger, or this hair style, or this "look", that part of it is most problematic as by this definition one could argue that virtually any legal model that ISN'T wearing heels and a regular dress is going to look underage - and god forbid the model actually looks 18 - this part of the rule I have no idea how they can enforce, essentially you wouldn't be able to promote any model that doesn't look like an old ladyOriginally posted by chupacabra

I just talked to someone on the phone at 1 (877) 647 1300
She told me she didn't have the files on why my sites were shut down but to email them because they are just going to respond to emails sent to whatever address listed when you log into your account telling you where to email (I can't remember what it is right now)
Also she said all money is going to be frozen for 6 months to make sure people don't start shutting down their sites and they get stuck with tons of chargebacks.
It didn't even sound like I could drop my one non-nude site and keep my nude site running with that account. I wanted to keep something running so then they would have no reason to hold my money but it seems they want me to start a new account so If they aren't even going to try and work with people to keep accounts active then I think everyones money is gone and we are screwed.Comment

I am now sure, we search already new processor. If Verotel says "it was mistake" we will process through Verotel and second one. Just got a reply from one of the Verotel people who was recommended that I eMail in another thread. Basically I asked why my account was suspended and what I needed to do to get it reactivated. This was her reply:
Hi,
I have forwarded your email to our Risk Management department as this is the department actually handling all questions and procedures re the new content policy.
They will get contact you as soon as possible.

My account with verotel is ok and I never receive the "underage model" letter. I normally receive money on Tuesday and I will let you know whether I can receive it.

Owner of our account spoke with Verotel live support Bill. Bill checked our account and did not find anything wrong. But he told his opinion is not relevant and we can get answer only from Risk Management. He confirmed there were plenty other suspended accounts and Risk Management is busy. They work overtime but he doesn't know when they should possibly answer 4 days old emails.

I have been using verotel for the past year with no problems! Then I get suspended. Actually they suspended me 6 months ago too, but I was reinstated. My situation is this, ALL MY CONTENT IS 18+ MODELS 100% 2257 COMPLIANCE! After ccbill dropped me I went to verotel. CCBill didn't care if I was 100% legal, *if* a model looks underage, they object. Imagine that! Any way it was the same deal with verotel they told me they would reinstate me if I drop my teen site a nd refund every one, i did, and everything was cool until I started a college site, using the same models that i paid a lot of money for over the years! Went fine until about 5 days ago. This time no replies to any of my calls or emails. What really gets me upset is that verotel has been the number one processor for all those underage sites! I emailed them about the potentual risk factor about that 6 months ago. I knew visa would eventually catch on! In fact, some one had a links page just for underage models and every freaking one of those sites was billed by verotel! What was verotel think? I realize that non-porn underage material is legal, even in the USA, but it's obvious that it is against visa's AUP! So why mess with it? Now here I am suspended for who the hell knows why, probably because some idiot feels one of my models looks underage despite the fact every thing is licensed and over 18! All because verotel processed underage crap. You bet I'm boiling, they suspended me 2 days before they would have sent me one of my largest payouts ever!!! My wife is pregnant, I have bills to pay, and I have to suffer because verotel processed underage crap? I went tru this with globill, and globosales, lost a bundle! Never fully recovered, only recently began coming out a head and this happens! Every one knows the teen market is one of the most lucrative of all, I know, because I've been doing this since 1994 and have been in all the markets. Nothing converts like teens (18+), but with all these ridiculous guidelines and AUP, it no longer makes a difference if you are 150% LEGAL, if some idiot doesn't like something your screwed! Adult webmasters should ban together and dump VISA! We need a alternative billing solution thatby-passes visa, and we all need to stick together.

My stupid teen site has around 200 members. By biggest was a non-teen site with over 500. I had pennywise redirect anything over 8 simulatanious log in attempts and that usually amounted to over 400 a day. If I shut the site down, verotel would be swamped with complaints. But I do not want to ruin my chances of being reinstated.
