    ICQ question

    Hi all,

I wouldn't be asking this if I wasn't getting desperate!

I'd like ICQ to set me to N/A automatically after a certain amount of inactivity (easy) but I DON'T want to go back to Online automatically when I move the mouse (hard).

How do I make ICQ remain on N/A status even after I return to the computer? Sometimes I just want to use my computer for a minute without everybody knowing I'm back. Seems to me that would be very useful.

    Thanks in advance!

Before you go away right click it and set the status to N/A

I appreciate the help but that doesn't answer my question. I want ICQ to set me to N/A AUTOMATICALLY but I want to go back to Online MANUALLY.

          Can this be done?

As far as I know, N/A cannot be set automatically. Only 'Away'

                        Sorry Black Dog

The only way i know how to not make it pop back with the mouse movement is to set it manually to n/a before leaving

I've given up. I guess it can't be done. But thanks for the replies! The serious ones, at least.
