A small story about how stupid some people can be.
It's my birthday today too.
It's not too hard to figure out that 11/11 is November 11, right?
Ok, I was at a casino in Vegas and didn't have my passport with me, only my Swedish driver's licence. A guard stopped me and asked for ID (I was 25 around that time). He looked puzzled and I asked what the problem was "I know you Europeans put the day before the month, or is it year/month/day?".
I wasn't going to say anything since there's not 70+ months in a year and 11/11 isn't too hard to figure out.
End of the story is that he called the security office and asked them and they said if it doesn't specifically say what is year, month and day in English, they can not just make guesses on what is what. So I got kicked out.
