When it comes to your product folks would be total idiots not to want to explore those things that set your product aside from others. We talked about this on the air a little, and the times have changed.
Dunno, if webmasters are more conservative and do not want to deviate and try new things, or they don't care as much and the bottom line appreciated now is good enough...
I know what you mean, and I would think the community would want to try the new things on the market since they are so much more refined from what may be similar on the market.
Example, CE is always evaluating content Content has really come along way over the years and there is so many choices now. But the interfaces, and value given to the surfer have made great strides but folks take their time to explore what is new and why it has more surfer appeal....
I understand the slow grow syndrome well :-)) But once you get somebody to try something, they are so loving it but getting them to deviate can be a challenge sometimes.
We recently took some content from a company because we loved the interface and wanted to put it out there and WOWEE so did the members and they hammered this new product,
So on one end you can see the members loving it when something new is added, and it begs the question why the owners are so slow in injecting something new and exciting.
I just don't get it....maybe J$ can explain it :-))
