Morgan Freeman is a great actor. So are Laurence Fishburn, Robert Guillaume and even Denzel Washington (I say "even" because I think he gets a bit more hype than he strictly deserves).

BTW: He is on my top list regardless of his race. He is a first class actor who brought something to the screen which do do not find in the majority of films today.
D. Washington is an ok second choice, but he tries too hard.
Fox is coming up fast. He was outstanding in Collateral and I have a feeling he will move up to position 1.01 after I see Ray.

I love the work of Forrest Whittaker. He is an excellent actor turned director.
Morgan Freeman also owns a farm and really cool restaurant in Mississippi. You can find him and his wife there often. A friend went for her birthday and Morgan was in the place that night. He and Mrs Freeman stopped by their table and actually sat down and had dessert with my friends! Really down to earth people.
