Recently there's been serious database errors with the original thread, so we're starting part 2.

I'll kick off this new thread with a sale of my own:
? MELON.com - $XXX,XXX (SOLD)
The deal (domain transfer & wire) closed just in time for my birthday. I acquired the domain in March 2004 to develop into a business hoping it could grow to be a global brand i.e. Apple or Orange, but after discussing prices with targeted suitors and turning down bids around 5-figs, we negotiated a more lucrative and suitable price. I'll report more details on DomainNews.com when I launch it.

bids. I'm not saying it's only worth that, but some gfy-ers always offer that. Domain is only worth what someone will pay, your job is to match the domain to the right buyer. Melon.com was not worth 6figs to
