Actually, Islam is all over Europe and has been for hundreds of years. There's a long history of interchange between the Middle East and Europe, including a lot of Islamic cultural infusion.
Christanity isn't indigenous to Europe either. The indigenous spiritual tradition of Europe is paganism (my own personal favorite).
My neighbors are Muslim and we couldn't ask for more kind, considerate, respectful people. I wish several of my "Christian" neighbors would move out and sell their homes to friends of our Muslim neighbors.

The US is a big country. The minority voted for George Bush. We have 300 million people. Only 59 million people elected him.
