We shoot alot of hardcore reality stuff and tons of niche stuff, mostly exclusive and some custom. I was looking over my accountants reports for last year...alwayrs crunching numbers and trying to save a buck.
His numbers were totals for the year...I divided them by 52 to get a weekly average for last year: Keep in mind we buy in bulk (1000 condums at a time, cases of drinks wholesale, etc.)
- Talent: $8414 per week
- Video Editing: $2187 per week
- Other staff: $2000 per week
- Refreshments (cold drinks, beer, snacks): $249 per week
- Condums, lube: $127 per week
- Rent/utilities/phones: $985 per week
- Pro. services: (accounting, legal, licenses, ins.) $193 per week
- Equipment: (new cameras, lights, dvd burners, external harddrives, repair, etc.) $227 per week
- Misc: (cleaning supplies, props, paint...list of this stuff is huge) $107 pe week
