You are off your fucking rocker. If I wanted, I could easily get several grand apiece within a year. I've sold lesser domains for $5k within last the few months.

Hey Richard! Tell these people which 4 domains you paid me $13.5k for this year, if you want

The price went up when you turned down the package deal. I think I'd need close to $10k for the six of these now. Or more if I can spark a bidding war

p.s. I'm still convinced you got a great deal and I'm still sorry to see the "commode" domain go.

Mistake?

Actually, I was fishing for answers. I know what I want for them. I wanted knowledgable opinions what others might require before letting go of valuable real estate.

I don't need to sell these, I've sat on them for almost six years, and I can sit on them another six. This thread won't change anything but for the better.

I'd rather keep that to myself.. suffice to say i wouldn't have bought again if i didn't think they were worth it..

Current projections (yay statsremote) I should make my investment back within the year at least. In the domain game these days that seems to be pretty good.

You asked for an appraisal and he gave you his answer and then you rip him. I own over 100 webcam related domains and have sold many and I'd appraise your cam domains at $800- 1500, I'd double or triple that if they had been "cams" instead of just "cam". If you market them well enough to a niche cam program you might fetch more.

Usually, as these things go, I don't "market" them at all. I get emails weekly inquiring about one domain or the other. The six in the OP all have been inquired about recently. This is why I asked.

So whats been the response when you reply back with your price? I suspect you don't hear from then any longer. You may not feel you have to market them, but I've been able to get 10 - 50% more for some domains because I targetted who might be interested in them and professionally approached them to see what their interest might be. You know as well as I do that domains are only worth what somebody else is willing to pay for them, so the more who know about them increases your chances of getting what you think they are worth.

My reasoning lies in the fact I think they will appreciate, and I'll make a small dividend while I sit on them.

I'm not out there trying to sell them, because I think they are a good investment, something I should hold on to.

But people email me, asking my price. I have to set a price, because everything has a price. I try to set it high enough that I won't have seller's remorse afterwards. You are absolutely right, I never hear from 90% of the people again.

Well good luck, certainly the domain and live cam market have been on the rise recently so maybe its good to sit on them. However, if you happen to inaccurately assess their value and pass up decent offers, you might be sitting on them for another six years. I'd buy them off of you if I felt like I had a profitable way to develop them, I just don't like the fact that they are singular. Rather than telling how much you think they are worth, I'd be more interested in why you think they're worth that much and who could specifically benefit from them?
