    Media censorship by the bush adminstration

    You americans don't realise how much media censorship is up there .

    Howard getting throwed out is nothing ...
    Out of 700 military consultant or so during the pre-war and war of irak, only ONE was agains't the war.
    94 % of the people interviewed on TV were pro war during that time (I think that was 14 000 people total or so).

    The big TV channels are owned by big compagnies (Microsoft, IBM, General electric) etc.

    Thoses compagnies got billions in military contract . They don't have the CHOICE to say what they want .

    Anyways I don't even know why I make that thread all I'm gonna get is flames.

      Its funny how everyone on the outside sees it (Im from Canada too) yet most on the inside dont.

          Our medias aren't biased as much as the medias in the states are . When I listen CNN sometimes I laugh my ass off .

              Usually not. But have you actually listened to Global News? It really got worst than Fox during the war coverage.

              Unbiased journalism is a myth.

                  Its not a myth, its just that most people are too damn lazy to do the research and construct informed opinions by themselves.

                  Sloganeering, rah rah flag waving, and 5 second sound bytes are so less taxing upon the overworked (hahaha!) brains of the American public.
                  Its coming.

                          Btw, in Canada we have far more objective news.

                          I use to be able to say the Liberals in Canada are no nothing do gooders, but they arent even that.

                                  Our own GlobalNews brought there own experts time and time again and all with the same views. They where saying stuff like this :

                                  "We must go there and exterminate that arrogant bastard;
                                  Time for him to get a taste of his own medicine;
                                  We shall help our allies get rid of him."

                                  And I'm not exaggerating. Check GlobalNews sometimes, you'll notice.
