    Windows OS on ATM

Saw this last night at a Wells Fargo ATM. Had to go get my camera and come back to take a picture! The ATM still worked.

Yeah I was paying in my verotel check and I noticed a guy rebooting a cashmashine, I was amazed and I couldn't keep my eyes off the screen to see the bootup config....

Sadly I was too far away to see very much, but it went through severl minutes of checking the cash trays and printer etc, it was windows

someone should take advantage of this. windows is the least secure os available

the atm in the building where i work was stolen, not like broken into or whatever -- the entire thing was wheeled off on a dolly and into a truck. how's that for a smart idea

it's not the Windows OS you can buy off the shelf...it's a (needless to say) proprietary flavor of hahahahahaded windows. More secure than you will ever know. Most ATM's were running OS/2.
