    Why do business threads get less attention than brainless threads?

    Aren't we all webmasters trying to make some cash? It's a shame that great business threads don't get the attention that a "would you hit it" thread gets.

    Why is this? I know this is the fucking around discussion forum, but doesn't anybody care about talking a little shop?

                      because here are too many brainless people, or people with no life who want to act cool by saying "i'd hit it 3 times" whereas in fact the only thing they could hit three times is their real doll

                                                                  I think that a good number of the so called webmasters are only teen wantabies.

                                                                  But thats what gfy has turned into. But there are still some really good threads to be found here.

                                                                      It seems to me this is just one of the characteristics of GFY. Webmasters come here more to relax and post whatever they want whenever they want.

                                                                      Other boards are more strictly moderated and stick to adult webmaster related issues, but I dont visit them as much as I do GFY, so Lensman must be doing something right.

                                                                                          I think for the most part, it is because people that have questions on how to, or ideas of try this,....

                                                                                          always get flamed, or some asshole comes in and takes the thread in a different direction not allowing for real answears....

                                                                                          it seems to me that if you do not have a huge post count or have someone say what a has been you are in the indusrty, then either
                                                                                          a.) no one wants to answear you out of fear of being flamed themselves

                                                                                          b.) or no one takes your question serious enough to comment consrtuctivly

                                                                                                                          I get plenty of business done, I think with business threads not everyone is in the same biz, some do content, some do traffic, etc, it doesnt apply to everyone. But fucking around threads apply to everyone.

                                                                                                                                  I've start several business threads, and have received some good replies and had a few good conversations, but I had to bump them a little with all the BS noise.

                                                                                                                                  Don't have a solution, as apparently the board owners accept this.

                                                                                                                                                  nature of the beast unfortunately.... no one is responsible for babysitting threads and making sure they stay visible.... and no one can hold everyone's hand to make sure they look at all the "serious" threads. Everyone is capable of looking beyond page 1 for something they want to read or participate in.... if they're not willing to do that, then not much can be done.

                                                                                                                                                  and of course, there's nothing stopping anyone from bumping a thread or two that they find of interest or of use to others.... people bump stupid threads all the time..... it can work both ways you know.

They may be reading those threads, but choose not to participate in them. Some people prefer to keep their business views private.

                                                                                                                                                          and a lot of times people just like to blow off some stream and frustration by goofing around here. It's just the way it is.
