I think the difference here is that she approached not having a c-section for the wrong reasons which is why everyone is quick to attack her. It's more of a trial by character, rather than the facts. Although there is certainly a good argument either way, would be interesting to see how this develops in the courts.

I wouldnt want to be forced under the knife for any reason, any time you go under you take a risk. there can be no certainty that the child would have lived even with a c section, it can only be assumed that the probability of life was much greater. how can you prove that the child died by her choice for natural child birth, you cant. she will be prosecuted because she was made out to be a selfish bitch and she very well may be.
i think her decission was wrong but i support her right to choose not to have surgery.
if she is convicted of murder for her decission i hate to think about the presedent that sets for similar cases where the choice isnt based on 'not wanting a c section scar'.Comment
