                                                                                                                                                                          well, it may be different in cali than in texas. but in texas ya gotta have 1500 hours to cut hair and 300 to shampoo. since cali requires more hours for a licensed barber/cosmetologist than does texas, i'm guessing the hours needed to shampoo are more. as far as i know, if you touch people, you have to be licensed.
