Wasn't his first name Angus?
I remember the episode where he ended up in that jail cell, and found his name on a wall, but he had to look through a mirror to be able to read it. I am just not sure if that was the name he read or not.
I actually got Richard Dean Anderson's autograph while he was in Vancouver one time. I got to talking to him and he said he didn't sign autographs for fans, until I told him my name and then he said he would because I shared the same name as his father.
