The original GTA ? There's 5 now lol ..
I got hooked on Vice City .. beat it like 5 times and went out and bought GTA III (Vice City is basically GTA 4) and was less impressed since I was going back a version.
San Andreas just came out (GTA 5) and I'm pretty hooked on that.
You have to like video games in general to really understand the appeal. It's one of the few games that incorporate *every* style of game. Role playing, adventure, action, racing, fighting etc.
There's so many things to do in the game it gets very hard to become bored of it. You can play missions to advance the story line and it's like an interactive movie .. or there's tons of map and area to explore, things to find etc. There's side missions that let you do racing and sports like stuff .. or if you've had a bad day you can just run around blowing shit up with rocket launchers and beat the crap out of innocent idiots walking down the street.
One of the best series of games ever.Comment

the new gta is the shit. expect yer husband to put in 100+ hours of gameplay LOL no way you can beat it in less time.
Often times I wonder why
There's love and hate, theres live or die.
When sickness comes I must decide:
When feelings go, theres suicide.

San Andreas is pretty good but somehow I liked Vice City better. Don't know why but Vice City feels a little more fun for me. Am I the only one who has trouble finding things ? I mean the cities are so damn big that it takes me a while to get back to my place after certain missions. The longest I've ever played it was 6 hours straight. That game should tie me down for a while.Comment

I've been logging a lot of hours on GTA: SA since the release date. I honestly didn't like the game at all until I reached the second city, and then I only liked it half as much as Vice City or even GTA: 3. Once I reached the last city however, I was totally into the game and everything new that it offers. I think I'm over 60 hours into it and I'm nearly done the main missions, barely been playing the side missions either. It's a long and involved game.Free agentComment

Damn; 60 hours !!! The longest game I've every played was Final Fantasy X and that was *only* 34 hours. There are not enough hours in the day for me to be able to keep up with your guys. Wow ! Just don't spill any spoilers on the board. I don't want to know anything in advancedthink I'm over 60 hours into it and I'm nearly done the main missions, barely been playing the side missions either.

I'm stuck in the last mission. I hate it. It's like 30 minutes long, and I keep dying in the last 2 minutes. JUST before it ends.. not telling what it is, but it's easy to know it's the last mission + last moments.
It's frustrating to play the first 'easy' 25 minutes and then die at the same spot over and over again...and I'm off.Comment

First off, I am not a gamer, but I love these games. I run out and buy all the GTA's and play them until I cant stay awake anymore. San Andres is just awesome!!!!! Keep it up Rockstar.Comment
