When did he say that? If he was really in love, he would want to share everything with her, and it wouldn't matter what her family thought of him. As it is, he's willing to be deceitful in order to keep her around. Either she's rich, or she's a good lay, and he doesn't want to lose that. When he starts being honest with her, then I'll start thinking he's in love.

thats what i had in my mind about a father's view.. i dont want him thinking im trying to pull any stunts. but i dont plan on telling him exactly, he has asked and all i said was "internet sales" and he noded his head and left the room after telling me "well its good to see a young man making work for himself with a profit"

Also it pays to take a little time and create a mainstream site. We did one with a bunch of mainstream affiliates(creditcard,car loans,etc) Having this also helps when wanting to rent something, the question comes what does your company do? You have a url for them and its all good, people dont know what makes money and what doesnt make money.

Be honest - tell her you're an internet marketer. You get traffic (or buy it) and send it to people who pay you for it. Some are mortgage & bank sites (depending on the traffic) others are adult entertainment sites - chats, adult games and porn. It pays you enough to permit you to have the things you do while working on your own hours. It's not the 'perfect' 9-5 job - but there's more porn going on in corporate offices than in a webmaster's office.

She shouldn't be offended by it unless you ask her to become content. Don't keep justifying it - she either lives with it or not.
