if memory serves me right, Netherlands, per capita has more money and investments than any other country on this planet.

My family is dutch and there was always hush dealing with the homeland growing up. Our dutch town (midwest) in the 80's had more millionares than any other city per capita at that time here in the USA.

You can never know if you can prevent something like this.
There are alot of (mostly young) muslim extremists here and there are many things that can be done against them but not with the laws we have right now. If there's enough proof that they are extremists take their passport and sent them where they came from. Same for allowing Imams in Holland that come from Marroco etc. They should not allow that. They should not allow any imams from other countries because most of them don't know about our livestyle and what we respect and don't respect.
