              Is it a similar situation to 9/11 where all the phone lines are jammed? I havent been following the news on it too closely today.

                      I can remember when you used to be able to get around the 'lines-jammed-during-crises' problem by using your cellphone. Wonder if the same would hold these days for non-ubiquitous communications technologies (blackberry?)...
