(Reuters) - A radical Basque nationalist leader says he does not believe ETA was responsible for a series of blasts at Madrid railway stations that killed at least 131 people.
Speaking on Radio Popular in the Basque country, Arnaldo Otegi, leader of banned radical political party Batasuna, said on Thursday he did not believe "even as a hypothesis" that ETA was responsible for the attacks in Madrid.
He said the attacks could have been "an operation by sectors of the Arab resistance".Comment

It's not really ETA's style, this sort of bomb.
I was living in Santander 2 years ago when they bombed there,
small bomb with warning, noone injured. I heard it it was 100 yards from where I lived, just alot of smoke and wrecked cars.
Iwas living in Barca 4 years ago when they bombed there, a park.
They always give warnings, they dont want to kill alot of people.
They may have got caught them a few weeks ago with 500kg of explosives, but they would have issued a warning before bombing anywhere.

It's a really sad day for us in Spain, they have been trying it for a long time, just during last month two attempts were frustrated, also the christmas day they tried it with another train, now they finally could do it. They put 13 bombs at some trains at 7:30 am when everybody goes to work, all them set to explode at same time creating the chaos and dead everywere.
173 deads and 700 wounded, inocent people without legs, arms, heads, realy hard images to remember forever. they killed just inocent people, hard workers going to earn the money to feed their families, young students going to the university, a fireman said that he tried to get out of the train a kid that was in flames and he saw it die without being able to put him out of the train. I can't underestand this shit, of course not all Basques support them, only a minority, the others are afraid to say it in public. There is no sense on trying to separate from Spain when all european countries are merging. It's just a band of sick assasins, formed by losers, young guys without work or studies that have their brain washed by some sick leaders.
