John Goodman just walked into my corner bar.

So I'm sitting at my local dive in San Diego.

John Goodman walks in, fat and mean.. and orders a drink.

This is a tiny ass bar... so of course people start to notice him (I noticed, but wtf do I have to say to the guy).. Man, this dude was *rude* to people.

Girls kept coming up to him and saying hi.. and he was just a dick!

If you are a famous actor, and want to be left alone, go get a table with a rope around it somewhere... Don't come sit at the bar and expect the locals not to notice you.

Funny part, I think he was with the guy who played the gay dude that was into Dirk Diggler.

I like ducks.

That is another reason they live in "the colony". Around here even top stars can do normal things like shop at the grocery store and people don't say anything to them 99% of the time.

Oh totally. It would bug the shit out of me too.

I can understand how a dude would want to get away and hang in a normal atmosphere every once in awhile.. but man, you can't expect to hide out in a bar that nobody exciting ever goes too.

I've seen a few celebs, many of them at the Pro Am at pebble beach! The biggest dick that I have seen was Huey Lewis <-- Not much of a celeb anymore. The coolest celeb that I have met would have to be Tommy Smothers, money and fame didn't get to him!

I met Tom Petty once at a comedy club in Lexington, KY on amateur nite. He was in town visiting friends and it was his last nite there. Was pretty cool

Yep born and raised in Breckinridge county but lived in Louisville for alot of years till I moved back to the country a year or so ago. They still got comedy on broadway in Lex? I havent been there in years lol

i think they do...i think they moved it to nicholasville rd though...in lexington green

Are you sure it was John Goodman and not Phillip Seymore Hoffman? John Goodman was not in Boogie Nights. I think Hoffman would be more likely to be a dick for some reason.

If you like Hoffman you should go rent a movie called Owning Mahoney. It's a true story of a bank manager in Canada that steals about 12 million from his bank to finance his gambling habit. Hoffman plays the manager and is brilliant in the role.
